A Tree for Every Child helps teach students, grades 3-5, about forest communities and trees in the context of environmental change. This web-delivered, hands-on, flexible education program encourages practical action to create a better world.
Throughout the Tree for Every Child website, you will find a learning guide, conservation tips, fun facts, cool historic trees, and creative ways to plant your own tree at home or in the community.
Children are given the opportunity to make a global change while acting locally. Be a part of American Forests’ goal of planting 100 million trees by 2020 through our Global ReLeaf campaign. In the learning guide you will also see instructions for making a “Tree-Mometer,” which kids can use to chart their fundraising progress. This is always a great motivator to show students their progress in reaching their goal.
